Our Story

In Oloitokitok, Kenya, at a place called Teule, we got to learn all about access to clean water.

We dove in, literally. We took a hands-on approach to learning about water, testing a variety of different sources to get an understanding of the problem.

Yes, we are engineers who love the newest tech, but water has a very personal aspect, so we spoke with as many people as we could along the way to hear their stories.

When we got back to the States, the Flint Water Crisis broke the news. Every state in the U.S. had a water system that failed at least one lead test, so we got to work with our own testing.

After months of testing, it clicked. We knew why we created Everwaters: to make natural water filters that work no matter where you live in the world.
